Happy Thanksgiving!
Time for Thankfulness

Thanksgiving is such a special and meaningful holiday to me. It has always had such a calming and peaceful feeling, which I have always enjoyed.
Not to mention, sometimes my birthday would land on the exact same day! (November 28th).
As a child in elementary school, it was always fun participating in a Thanksgiving program. (Pilgrims and Indians!).
Also, my mama was an outstanding cook. I love reminiscing about all the beautifully cooked turkeys, coupled with many delicious sides, that she so lovingly prepared.
Thankfulness and gratitude are important character traits that open your world to such a fuller life.
The following is taken from “Jesus Calling” for November 28th.
Rest in the deep assurance of My unfailing Love. Let your body, mind, and spirit relax in My presence. Release into My care anything that is troubling you, so that you can focus your full attention on Me. Be awed by the vast dimensions of My Love for you: wider, longer, higher, and deeper than anything you know. Rejoice that this marvelous Love is yours forever.
The best response to this glorious life is a life steeped in thankfulness. Every time you thank Me, you acknowledge that I am your Lord and Provider. This is the proper stance for a child of God: receiving with thanksgiving. Bring Me the sacrifice of gratitude and watch to see how much I bless you.

1 Peter 5:7 Ephesians 3: 16 – 19 Psalm 107: 21 – 22
Jesus loves you and wants a personal relationship with everyone reading this.
As Thanksgiving segues into Christmas, my earnest prayer is that you make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of your life, if you have not already done so.
Let’s make heaven crowded, by saying YES to JESUS!
