Is Your Name in the Lamb’s Book of Life?
Where You Spend Eternity…It’s on You!
This past Sunday, March 15, 2026, Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel, asked this very important question. Is your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life?
His approach to this topic was quite intriguing and thought-provoking. He pointed out many scriptures that suggest every individual has their name listed in the Lamb’s Book of Life, however, it will only remain there, if a person surrenders their life to Jesus Christ; by the repenting of their sins, asking for forgiveness and making Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6.)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent his Son to the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3: 16 – 17.)
God sent His Son Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb and to take on the sins of all humanity. Jesus became fully man and fully God, who walked on this earth for 33 years. I think it is safe to say and bears repeating that no other person’s life or death in the history of the world has been scrutinized, studied, debated, or analyzed than Jesus Christ. His resurrection was a supernatural miracle, and Christianity was based on this central claim of the resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
According to Apostle Paul, “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” (First Corinthians 15:17.)
If a person rejects or denies Jesus as their Lord and Savior, their name will be blotted out; and they will be thrown into the lake of fire, alongside Satan for eternity.
And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. (Revelation 21:27.)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Revelation 20: 12.)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15.)

I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward.
Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
