Exploring the meaning and significance of the word, “NOW!”

From a Biblical perspective, “now” generally signifies the present moment, an immediate action, or a crucial point. It emphasizes the urgency or importance of a situation, decision, or divine intervention. It can also highlight the fulfillment of God’s promises or the immediacy of His presence.
Here’s a breakdown of how “now” is used in the Bible.
Old Testament: God’s commands often include “now,” urging immediate obedience, like in Gensis 12:1 where God tells Abram to leave his country.
New Testament: The proclamation of the gospel emphasizes the urgency of the present time, as in Mark 1:15 where Jesus says, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.”
Psalms: The Psalms often use “now” to express a present reality or to call for immediate divine help, such as Psalm 118:25, where the Psalmist pleads, “O LORD, save us, we pray. We beseech You, O LORD, cause us to prosper now.”
The concept of “now” can also mark a significant turning point where a promise is fulfilled or a new phase begins, as seen in the use of “now” in Genesis 1:2, potentially signaling a new phase after creation.
“But now” in Romans:
The phrase “but now” in Romans 3:21 signifies a shift from law-keeping to God’s righteousness through faith.
The Holy Spirit’s influence is often described as “now.”
My reasoning for the deconstruction of the word “now” is to solidify the urgency of its meaning in your minds. This is a call to action!
The very fabric of this great country is being deliberately undermined, dismantled, and destroyed by design.
Cultural Marxism, which wins the hearts and minds of people incrementally by the gradual transformation of the culture has crept into our society. It is based on secular values (aka Secular Humanism) rather than Judeo-Christian morality. This worldview REJECTS the idea or belief in a supernatural being such as God. Humanists have no belief in an afterlife, and so they focus on seeking happiness in this life.
We have enemies from within that occupy positions of power, prestige, and pulpits spearheading these relentless attacks. If we don’t act “now” in pushing back this radical, demonic plague that has infected this great Republic; America will cease to exist. Heed the warning!
The implementation of so many immoral actions that are counterintuitive to God’s Word are wreaking havoc in our culture.
Such as critical race theory, transgenderism, gender reassignment surgery, and individuals demanding to be referred to as mixed pronouns, instead of their given name. Example: she/they – instead of Susan or he/she/they – instead of Jack. This phenomenon causes much confusion.
Other immoral acts include abortions: both late term and post-delivery, same-sex marriage, and the acceptance of gay/lesbians presiding in our sacred pulpits.
Public school libraries are physically placing child pornography books on their shelves for their K – 12 students to read. (By law, any person who knowingly possesses child pornography is guilty of a Class 6 felony.) FYI - That’s a criminal offense!
They are also hosting “drag queen” story hours for our most innocent and vulnerable. The goal is to normalize the sexualization of our children. This is outrageous, unacceptable, and sickening.
Each one of these items is a complete REJECTION of Almighty God and His Word. These acts are behaviors that harm others and lead to spiritual degradation.
The increase hatred towards Christians and Jews that is spiking across America’s colleges and universities is due in part; because of professors who are teaching and promoting radical anti-American and anti-Israeli rhetoric.
The book Rules for Radicals, written by Saul Alinsky, is probably on the top ten reading list of these institutions of higher learning. Did you know that Alinsky made an acknowledgment to Lucifer? (Satan).
And I quote, “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical; from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins—or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom –Lucifer.”
The following is a list of more insanity that is occurring in our culture.
We have a mainstream media who we can no longer trust, because of their intentional spewing of lies, half-truths, and twisted narratives. Also, we are witnessing many rogue judges, who are making unconstitutional rulings by not adhering to the rule of law. They are dishonoring and disrespecting the U.S. Constitution by which they took an oath to support! Does the word “treasonous” mean anything to you?
May Day! May Day! May Day! Urgent Warning to All New Yorkers! A man named Zohran Mamdani, a Shia Muslin is running for the office of New York City’s mayor position. He is a democratic socialist… Obama 2.0. His political platform will literally obliterate, eradicate, and finish off the Big Apple!! Heed the warning!
The very core of America is rotten, and the stench of immorality and lawlessness is extremely pervasive.
I intentionally selected the word “now” to be included in the title of my book because of the urgency of the moment…Righteousness NOW – Let’s Roll America!
Righteousness means right standing with God. At its conception, America was a God-fearing nation, who fully relied on God and His Word. Due to the above rejections and immoral actions that I just mentioned, this is no longer the case.
The citizens of America can longer be complacent, passive, and unengaged while our Biblical foundations are being decimated by anti-God ideologies.
The enemy is here among us; and God’s army must rise to the occasion and push back the darkness of evil.
“Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.” (Isaiah 58:12).
The Church is the last bastion and firewall that can impede this scourge of wokeness, and unchecked immortality which is spreading like wildfire. The following is taken from Dutch Sheets’ blog post; Give Him Fifteen (July 21, 2021) and I quote.
“It is time for a blitz push of God’s ecclesia to confront, bind, beat down, and dismantle a demonic religion that has taken root in much of our government, and is seeking to destroy several of our nation’s foundations. This religion is humanism. Humanism can also be called progressivism, liberalism, democratic socialism, a politically correct “wokeness.”
They are subtle words that sound innocent, but they are actually terms that have replaced Nazism, Marxism, and Communism. Humanism seeks to displace Jehovah God and His Word within a culture promoting an anti-Christ agenda through a progressive government. TRUTH must be maintained, and God is calling the ecclesia to battle for principle and to vocalize TRUTH.”
I am curious to why have we have not seen more push-back from the Churches? One would think, because of all this flagrant immorality that is so widespread in our culture, that pastors would take a more active role in standing up against it!? Their silence is deafening! This is a grave concern of mine.
This is an “all-hands” on deck moment for the people of God. We are being called to be “salt & light” against the ongoing plague of immorality and lawlessness that is trying to overtake our nation.
A notable evangelist, by the name of Mario Murillo, is sounding the alarm in all his tent meetings, where people are being saved and supernatural divine healings are taking place.
Also, Mario Murillo and Todd Coconato are sounding the alarm on their weekly show called Firepower! It is here that I receive an uncompromising, spiritual perspective on all current events. They are speaking out; not to alarm you, but to arm you. Amen!
Folks, if you are a “born again” believer, you must understand this child of God. The Lord works through His people; and He needs you to be His hands and feet at this critical moment in history. God has placed an assignment in all of us that we must champion.
But Nancy, how do I know what that is? Let’s read together what Mario Murillo thinks, and I quote.
“God is warring to save America. You must find your assignment in that war. But how can we know our assignment? The secret to finding your assignment is in your heart. God speaks to the heart and then the heart must control the mind…Your assignment in the army of God is your individual expression and extension of Christ’s destruction of the works of the devil. You are a destroyer of the works of the devil. God will give you a way to do it that is unique to you.” Receive the call!
